Feeding the planet, energy for life

FOOD, ENERGY, PLANET, LIFE are the keywords for the World Exhibition (EXPO) to be held in Milan in 2015.

The Expo is a non-commercial universal exposition organized by the nation that wins the candidature. The first Expo was held in London in 1851 and some world famous monuments are the result of an EXPO, like the Eiffel Tower. Each EXPO has a general theme. The 2012 Expo is to be held in South Korea.

The area that will occupied by the Expo 2015 site is located northwest of Milan in the municipalities of Rho and Pero , and covers an area of 1.1 million square meters. It is adjacent to the new Fiera di Milano fairgrounds. For an artist impression go to the EXPO website.

The entire Masterplan for the EXPO can be downloaded here (in English).

The EXPO has its own Facebook fan page .
